University of Helsinki offers students of University of Belgrade two scholarships for the academic 2011/12 (one for winter, one for the spring semester). The scholarship covers the cost of accommodation and food, while students have to cover the costs of visas, travel expenses, international health insurance during this period and any additional personal expenses. Tuition costs are covered by the agreement.

Prospective candidates must submit the following documents:

• Application form
• Learning agreement
• Academic transcript
• Certificate of language proficiency (http://www.helsinki.fi/exchange/howtoapply/index.html#LanguageRequirements)
• Recommendation(s)
• Cover letter
• A copy of the first page of passport

Please note that the University of Belgrade nominates candidates for exchange, and it is necessary to deliver complete documentation to University of Belgrade, Studentski trg 1, no later than 10 May 2011. , for candidates who wish to apply for the winter semester 2011/12. Documentation sent directly to Helsinki, without nomination of University of Belgrade, will not be accepted.

Candidates who want to apply for the spring semester 2011/12 can deliver documents to the University of Belgrade no later than 15 October 2011.
